Large mouth basses can give you a relatively tough time, especially when trying to reel one in fresh. However, using the right type of lure can help make the difference. Usually, largemouth bass are attracted to plastic worm lures, spinner baits, crank baits, jigs, and swim baits, for those trophy bass that are known to prey on smaller juvenile trout. Using live baits is also a good way to go, just as long as you use the type of bait that the largemouth bass would be interested in, such as crawfish, frogs, and night crawlers.
